Eden Gemeente

Eden Gemeente is situated on Gedeelte 195/51, Kraaibosch

We gather with a desire to deepen our love and devotion. We believe that something powerful happens when a congregation comes together to worship and opens their lives to be addressed through teaching and proclamation. The gathering of the congregation for this purpose will never become obsolete. We therefore strive to plan deep and meaningful services, and—with the help of the Holy Spirit—we believe that in our services you will experience the reality that we are the body of Christ and the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Eden Gemeente associates with other congregations and denominations on various levels, and we do not define ourselves primarily within a denominational framework.

Our focus is mainly on the community in which we are situated, and we feel comfortable describing ourselves as a missional community church. We maintain relationships with congregations from various denominations as well as independent congregations, engaging in shared reflection on effective missional practice.

In a survey regarding how our members position themselves, nearly one hundred percent of all new members indicated that they did not commit to membership of a specific denomination. The majority of our members view themselves as part of a local congregation without placing any specific emphasis on denominational affiliation. We therefore regard ourselves as post-denominational.
