Fuad Gierdien is the founder of FG UNIFORMS cc, who comes from a historically disadvantaged background.  Although Fuad faced troubled times, his tenacity, integrity, passion & compassion contributed towards him becoming an Icon in the field of manufacturing.

In 1979 at a time when there was an enormous need for the manufacture and supply of specified uniformed clothing, the aspiring and talented young tailor and designer started his business in the manufacturing of uniforms.

The FG Uniforms cc establishment expanded from a small shop in Salt River to a large office block, with a fully equipped manufacturing plant and two branches in GAUTENG and KWAZULU-NATAL.

As a 100% black empowered company with 30years experience in the manufacturing industry we are able to accommodate the unique requirements of each client

Since the inception of FG Uniforms cc, uniforms were supplied to government departments.  Today, 37 years later, a larger supply of uniforms and corporate wear is supplied to governmental departments and various companies on contract and tender basis.

More than 80% of our manufacture is for the supply to governmental departments in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal extending through to Windhoek and Namibia.

Our entire staff compliments compromise of previously disadvantaged individuals.
