Dr JH Barnard

Dr JH Barnard is situated on 3 Da Gama Street Mosselbaai 

Dr. Jan Hendrik Barnard was born in Pretoria on the 3rd of June 1970 and although his family resided in town, they spent all their weekends and holidays on a farm near Rustenburg.

In 1998, while completing his final year of schooling at Menlo Park High School, he was selected for Craven Week Rugby for Northern Transvaal and later that same year, the prestigious South African School’s Rugby team.

Not only was he an avid rugby player at school, he also enjoyed swimming and chess.\

Dr. Jan Hendrik Barnard attended the University of Pretoria, where he studied medicine and continued playing rugby. In 1990 he captained the u/20 Blue Bulls, but sadly his rugby career ended as a result of a fractured ankle.
