Scarborough Security Service

Back in 2000, Scarborough was experiencing a serious crime problem. The Community came together to try and work out a solution to address the crime problem of at least 4 break-ins per night. Our Founders, Richard and Sylvia Foster, took on the responsibility to try and find a way to solve this overwhelming problem.

Thus Scarborough Security Services was launched! Using one vehicle and with the support of the community, we managed, after some time, to reduce the crime considerably. Later some members of the community relocated to Kommetjie and Simon’s Town and decided to take our service with them. We could not let our loyal customers down – your security is very personal to us, so we expanded our service to accommodate their security needs.

This was the start of ISS Tactical, a security company which now covers the South Peninsula with our Control Room and offices in Simon’s Town. Having celebrated just over 22 years of service we look forward to many more years of service.
