The nucleus of our operation where all administration is automated is to facilitate efficient processing of claims and quotations. Customers are able to receive up to date information with regards to their vehicle progress. We have qualified journeymen to man the panel beating department using specialized equipment. State of the art chassis equipment and factory approved welding machines are used in order to ensure and maintain precision repair standards. All the equipment used in our panel shop guarantee that the most stringent factory specifications have been met. Our paint shop uses the most sophisticated dust free pneumatic preparation systems. The paint preparation system totally excludes water therefore reducing any chance of corrosion on any repair work done. The paint shop is also equipped with fully computerized and automated spray booths and colour lab. This ensures the most accurate colour matching and dust free finishing on any paintwork. We have also recently installed the latest Standox waterborne paint technology as per factory standards.

Qualified technicians ensure repairs are carried out to the highest quality with genuine replacement parts. A team of trimmers then re-assemble customer’s vehicles once painting and finishing has been completed. A post repair safety check is carried out by our quality controller to ensure work has been executed in accordance with the company’s high quality levels. Suppliers of all parts and products are carefully selected and monitored to ensure that only the best is used on our customers’ vehicles. Tongaat Auto Industries accepts responsibility for sub contracted repairs and service, and takes the initiative to ensure that all work performed and repairs carried out are in accordance with the agreed estimate or insurance companies instructions and standards.
