De Werf Lodge

De Werf Lodge is the perfect escape for family holidays and stayover in the Kalahari region. Relax and enjoy the tranquility of our amazing encampment filled with roaming wildlife and a magnificent fish pond. 

De Werf Lodge is a beautiful three Star Accommodation in the heart of the northern Cape near Upington and Kakamas.

De Werf offers 21 en-suite rooms beautifully spread out over tree filled gardens. All surrounded by lawns and water features. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and private braai(BBQ) facilities. All rooms have a cosy patio to watch the Springbok and other wild life roaming the area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Our meeting rooms can accommodate groups from 10 to 140 people. De Werf is home to some of the finest meeting facilities in the Northern Cape. De Werf has a beautiful Wedding Chapel which can seat 65 people and an entertainment area which can seat up to 65 guests. Catering can be adapted to your specific requirements. De Werf is an ideal setting for weddings, functions and other events.

At De Werf Restaurant, we are proud to offer a variety of tasty dishes for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  We do have a fully stocked bar and you can indulge on the famous Orange River wines. Opening times of the Restaurant are 07:00 – 22:00. We recommend to make a reservation. Yes, we are open during load shedding.

At our fully licensed Restaurant with bar you can wine and dine in style. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, bringing you some of the best ingredients the green Kalahari has to offer. Enjoy good food and South African wines in Keimoes.

We can accommodate up to 140 participants for your conference, business meeting or training. Our conference facilities are state of the art.
