Transkei Quarries is situated just outside of Mthatha and has been in the present owners’ hands since 1986. At the helm is General Manager, Ernst Putter, a man who worked himself up through the company after starting as a driller and blaster. He has, along with a strong management team, steadily grown the company and with it, its fleet of earthmoving and crushing equipment.
