USG Auto Glass

USG AUTO GLASS was registered in 1999 and started a windscreen factory in East London. USG is the 2nd biggest after-market windscreen supplier in South Africa. USG uses OEM approved machinery that was purchased from TAMGLASS, FINLAND and BYSTRONIC in Switzerland. USG have been insurance approved since 2004 with all the major insurance companies in South Africa. USG supply the independent replacement market with windscreen and we also export to the SADC countries. USG windscreens are manufactured with local glass bought from PFG, all the glass is made according to the Pillkington process and is OEM approved. We get our PVB from Sekisui Japan and from their plant in Holland. The PVB is OEM approved. USG has acquired a factory to produce side glasses for the motor industry in 2014. This factory is also situated in East London. We are in the process of being accredited with SANS 1193:2008 (automotive flat and building glass). This will give USG the advantage to supply the motor replacement market with the full range on windscreens and side glasses. USG is also equipped to produce multi-layer laminated glass for the safety and security industry.
